El regreso de los pantalones ‘cargo’

Con la llegada de la primavera y el anuncio del tan deseado y cercano verano, apetece buscar alternativas al vaquero para vestir y disfrutar de pantalones que fusionen estilo y comodidad a partes iguales.

The return of ‘cargo’ pants
With the return of spring and the much sought-after and fast-approaching summertime, we fancy looking for alternatives to jeans in order to dress up and enjoy wearing trousers which blend together style and comfort in equal measures.

Esta temporada la tendencia nos ofrece un amplio abanico: ciclistas, bermudas, ‘leggings’, pantalones con bolsillos, pantalones masculinos y pantalones de talle alto.

This season the trend has offered up a wide range of options: cyclists, Bermuda shorts, leggings, trousers with pockets, masculine trousers and high-waisted trousers.

Hoy me declino por los pantalones con bolsillos. Archiconocidos bajo el nombre de pantalones ‘cargo’, desde hace décadas son imprescindibles en el armario femenino y una de las propuestas más estilosas y ‘casual’ que encontramos en el panorama ‘fashion’ actual.

Today I am going for a pair of trousers with pockets. They’re extremely well-known under the moniker of ‘cargo’ pants, and for decades they’ve been our indispensable items of clothing for us ladies’ wardrobes and are one of the most stylish and casual looks that we’ve found within the current fashion panorama.

Aunque mayoritariamente las firmas los incluyen en sus colecciones en colores tierra y caqui, esta primavera han ampliado su abanico en cuanto a propuestas de color y nos los presentan en tonos pasteles, blancos nucleares e incluso metalizados. Nos recomiendan completar el ‘look’ con cazadoras y sandalias.

Although most of the time they are featured in brands’ collections in earthy and khaki shades, this spring they have broadened their ranges of colour schemes on offer and they can be found in pastel, bright white and even metallic shades. We have been advised to complete the look with bomber jackets and sandals.

Mi propuesta de hoy es relajada en cuanto a la silueta y los tonos de las prendas, con una dosis extra de color en los accesorios (capazo y ‘mules’). Las opciones de reinterpretación son muchas, su versatilidad es amplia. Ganas de vestirlos con sandalias de tacón; creo sinceramente que ganarán positivos.

My outfit today is relaxed in so far as the silhouette and the shades of the items of clothing, with an extra dose of colour in the accessories (straw basket bag and mules). The options for reinterpretation are endless, their versatility is plentiful. Looking forward to dressing them up with high-heeled sandals; I honestly believe that they will pick up plenty of fashion brownie points.
