Isabel Villar<\/strong> is turning 87 on 8th<\/sup> March and the Fern\u00e1ndez-Braso<\/a><\/strong>, in Madrid, is celebrating this by showing an exhibition from tomorrow with her latest works of art -2019\/2021-, complimenting the great retrospection that she undertook in 2018.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Diario de Estilo<\/strong> is joining the Fern\u00e1ndez-Braso <\/strong>celebration; as well as Eduardo<\/strong> and Sergio Sanz<\/strong>, her family, with her grandmother Ana Mirat<\/strong>, her engineer father Miguel<\/strong> and her uncle Manolo<\/strong>; alongside Alfredo Alcain<\/strong>, Antonio Zarco<\/strong>, \u00c1ngel Doreste<\/strong>, Vicente Vela <\/strong>and Eduardo Sanz<\/strong> -ever Eduardo<\/strong>-, her \u2018true friends\u2019 from the  \u201cLa Cepa\u201d <\/strong>group; as well as Eugenia Ni\u00f1o<\/strong> and the 1970 Sen Gallery<\/strong>; and Josefina Aldecoa<\/strong>, Carmen Mart\u00edn Gaite<\/strong>, Fernando Sabater<\/strong>, Jos\u00e9 Hierro<\/strong>… with their marvellous texts; those accompanying angels <\/strong>with multi-coloured wings yet do not fly, and the elephants, hippos, camels, giraffes, bears, monkeys, tigers, raccoons… <\/strong>for her special su particular bestiary; and, especially, for each and every one of the women<\/strong> who star in her paintings, standing up or sitting down, when they are not flying through the air, more ironic than na\u00efve, fearless, alarming yet serene and, definitely, free, seemingly not waiting nor in need.: \u201cThe feminine world of Isabel Villar is autonomous, it had closed in on itself, because women are no longer victims but rather free people\u201d, <\/em>the journalist Josep Meli\u00e1<\/strong> wrote.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

who was mistreated by all of the lambs.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

And there was also a bad prince, <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

All of these things were once upon a time. <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
