Did you know that 2,000 years ago the healing properties of Hungary’s hot springs were first observed<\/strong>, and the first thermal baths were built? Since then, Hungarian thermal baths have made it possible to access its magnificent healing waters by providing healing relief to bathers who have enjoyed them: from improving the scars of Roman soldiers after the war, to improving the beauty and vitality of the skin of pilgrims all around the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the nineteenth century, the Omorovicza family<\/strong> built a beautiful thermal bath, the R\u00e1cz F\u00fcrd\u0151,<\/strong> on the site of an Ottoman bath, erected in turn in the 1560s on a medieval spring famous for its healing properties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the turn of the millennium, Stephen de Heinrich de Omorovicza was living in Budapest when he met American diplomat Margaret, chief of staff at the U.S. Embassy in Hungary.<\/p>\n\n\n

Stephen took Margaret to the baths were built by his family. The couple observed the healing powers of these waters on their skin and decided to embark on a quest to harness their healing power and make these healing properties available to everyone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
