Belleza: Maquillaje con aerógrafo

Soy curiosa. Si a mi curiosidad le sumas propuestas de belleza de mujeres como Marisa, fundadora de Vanitas Espai y en la que confío tras meses de seguir y probar sus recomendaciones ‘beauty’, lo único que puede suceder es que me anime fácilmente.

Marisa, conociendo mis idas y venidas con las sesiones de fotos, presentaciones, eventos, fiestas, etcétera, me sugirió probar el maquillaje con aerógrafo como alternativa puntual por su larga duración y  su cobertura media. Os cuento en qué consiste esta técnica de maquillaje, y os copio tal cual lo define el equipo de Vanitas Espai.

I’m curious. If you add beauty ideas to my curiosity by women like Marisa, the Founder of Vanitas Espai and where I have put my trust in and been trying out their beauty recommendations, the only thing that can happen is that I’m easily pleased.

Marisa, who knows my comings and goings with the photo-shoots, presentations, events, parties, etc., suggested I try out the make-up with an airbrush as a one-off alternative due to its long lastingness and its medium coverage. I’m going to tell you what this make up technique consists of, and I’m copying and pasting it just the way the team at Vanitas Espai have defined it.

Yo no encajo en la categoría novia –hace años que la abandoné–, ni en la categoría ‘TV celebrity’, pero sí encajo en la categoría de mujer trabajadora que, por su agenda de compromisos, hay días que precisa ir maquillada de manera impecable durante horas.

I don’t fit into the bridal category –I’ve not been one for years–, nor in the category of a TV celebrity, but I do fit into the category of a working woman who, due to her schedule of commitments, there are days when I need to be impeccably made up for hours on end.

Soy una mujer muy exigente, únicamente doy mi visto bueno a maquillajes que me ofrezcan una cobertura natural con un acabado suave y una textura muy difuminada. No soy amiga del exceso de maquillaje, no lo aguanto. Tengo la sensación de estar ahogando mi piel, me supera.

Dicho esto, lo probé y me gustó. Os animo a ver el vídeo con todo el proceso.

I am a very demanding woman; I only give my seal of approval to foundations that give me natural coverage with a soft finish and a very well blended texture. I’m not a big fan of excessive make-up; I can’t stand it. It makes me feel like my skin is drowning, it’s too much for me.

Having said that, I tried it and I liked it. I recommend you watch the video with the whole process.

En cuanto a sus ventajas, os copio, pero puntualizo alguna de ellas. Tomad nota:

«El maquillaje es de alta definición: Permite un grado de detalle mucho mayor que el maquillaje normal de pincel. Además, el acabado mate confiere un aspecto impecable.»

«El maquillaje queda instantáneamente difuminado y se fija de inmediato, logrando cubrir cualquier imperfección del rostro sin que se vea rastro del producto: Adiós a todas esas arruguitas, manchas, venitas, rojeces… La piel queda con un aspecto natural y aterciopelado.»

Puntualizo. Sí queda instantáneamente difuminado con una textura muy agradable, pero no cubre del todo los defectos en la piel ya que su cobertura es media. Justamente por esa razón me gusta tanto a mí. La piel queda con un aspecto natural y aterciopelado muy bonito, sin parecer una careta de cartón hecha con kilos de maquillaje.

With regards to its advantages, I’ve copied and pasted below, but I have added my own points to some of them. Take note:

I must clarify. Yes it does look instantly blended in with a very nice texture, but it doesn’t cover the blemishes on your skin completely because of its medium coverage. It’s precisely for this reason that I like it so much. Your skin has a natural and very pretty velvety look, without looking like you’re caked in kilos of make-up.

«Es un maquillaje de larga duración: Puede aguantar hasta 24 horas sin necesidad de retoques. Es perfecto para novias, o para eventos importantes.» Yo le sumaría las fiestas de Navidad.

«Es un maquillaje que no obstruye los poros: Aunque tengamos una piel que fácilmente se altera con granitos y poros negros, este maquillaje no supone ningún riesgo.»

«También es resistente al agua, sudor, lágrimas, calor… y besos. Otro motivo por el cual es excelente para novias.»
