Leather in its simplest form

I usually browse the fashion books that I set aside from every season. It is good for me to review how the trend interprets the designers’ suggestions and confirm that, when it comes to fabrics, there are very few variations. The update comes prescribed by the item of clothing, the colour and how to combine it. Let’s cut to the chase.

Leather is the first raw material known to have been used to be worn. This winter it is being introduced to us as a second skin and to the trusty black and classic camel, pastel shades are being added, as well as bright reds and grey tones with items of clothing like seventies coats, the classic biker jacket, bullfighter-style bomber jackets, jumpsuits, dresses, harem pants, joggers, drainpipe trousers, shorts, Bermudas, etc. It is worth pointing out that a large number of outfits have gone for the ‘total look’ in an icon par excellence from the masculine wardrobe, the tailored trousers, and the most classic version of the tailored skirt has been added to them.

My choice: Leather trousers with a slightly ‘palazzo’ pants-style silhouette by the brand SPRWMN Los Angeles to earn brownie points thanks to their versatility when it comes to creating outfits.

We keep putting together a solid staple wardrobe with timeless items of clothing.
