It must have been at the beginning of autumn when I saw in the Nordic ‘street style’ the unusual look of wearing your blazer tucked into your trousers for the first time. I liked it, although I admit that I thought about how uncomfortable it would be to wear all of the excess clothing (from the blazer) tucked into my trousers. I acknowledge that I dreaded that more so than thinking about the visual look – no matter how interesting it seemed to me –, and that’s where I left it.
Some weeks later, while looking for items of clothing for a presentation, I came across the same aesthetic look with one of the most interesting twists: Pinko had created a smart and ultra comfortable to wear bodysuit-blazer. It was mine!
I have coordinated it with all kinds of high-waisted trousers: harem pants, leather trousers, ‘mom jeans’, etc; and it adds elegance and, thanks to its plunging neckline, certain mix of measured sensuality to all of them in equal measures.
It’s an on-trend look that I have gone for and I hope to hold on to it so that I can enjoy wearing it with the new looks in store for this Spring 2020.
