This autumn–winter 2025–2026, pearls step into new territory, emerging as the standout element of the season. In jewellery, they define the trend across necklaces, earrings and bracelets, appearing both in delicate designs and in striking, oversized forms. No longer simply decorative, they command attention. From understated chokers strung with pearls to dramatic necklaces that cascade over the torso like flowing water, the effect is bold luxury—elegant, yet unafraid to make a statement. Freshwater and resin pearls in subtle hues add a refined, organic quality to these creations.
Beyond jewellery, pearls are finding fresh expression as substantial embellishments on knitwear, tops and handbags—seen at Chanel, Prada and Givenchy—setting the tone for a more elevated look. Here, embellishment becomes an expressive language of its own; these details do more than shine, they complete the narrative of the outfit. No longer bound by their traditional symbolism, pearls take on new directions, blending originality with a playful edge, and integrating seamlessly into the entire look as an extension of personal style.
