This Autumn–Winter 2025 has confirmed the loafer as one of the essential shoes in a woman’s wardrobe. Beyond a passing trend, it is that reliable staple that balances style, practicality and versatility. On runways and in the streets, we have seen renewed versions and reinterpretations for every style, yet they all share the same common thread: the loafer is a contemporary classic that undoubtedly deserves a prominent place in our wardrobe.
In this return of the loafer as a key player, trends move between two main poles: reworking the classic and adding a stronger, more contemporary edge. We see black-and-white models with a retro feel, brown tones with XL details that add character, versions with heels and chunky soles that elevate office looks, nautical-inspired designs with laces and visible stitching and, of course, the timeless black loafer with a gold buckle, the one that never goes out of style and always works.
