If there is an Autumn/Winter that requires (re)evaluating the classic coats, without a doubt it’s this one. The situation demands bringing back the all-time coats and breathing new life into them.
Teddy bear effect, bison, sheepskin, fox, ‘mutton’ fur coats…, vintage coats, XXL coats, seventies-style coats, aviator style leather sheepskin bomber jackets, denim look, the classic leather biker jacket, military ones (with extra camouflage), oversized sports jackets, mono-coloured or printed feathers, raincoats in their most timeless version, ethnic-style as well as sartorial-style capes and ponchos and XXS bullfighter jackets, leather effect or checked ones.
My choice: a classic 70s comeback by the Italian brand Pinko. A pretty long double-lined coat with a natural tone suede embroidered layer with golden lurex, and the other one made from faux merino wool-effect fur, with Mongolian folk-style faux fur detailing.
When I saw it, it looked perfect to compliment the boho-style mini dresses and the knee-high boots that end up giving the look that hippie air.
Happy new life!
