Total denim (July 2021 edition)

Denim is still an essential, the king of casual, adding years of timelessness being covered in a thousand and one ways.

We have seen it in the classic blue, with the worn-out tie-dye effect, in black, white or with a splash of pastel dyes, with spots, lines, patchwork effects, etc. In terms of items of clothing, the absolute protagonist has been jeans in very different cuts: straight, drainpipes, boyfriend, mom fits, baggy, bootcut, Bermudas, shorts …; accompanied by jackets, shirts, dungarees, short, long and midi skirts, dresses …, every season there’s a different look and a different hit.

By choice I have opted for a mix &match combining colours, effects and items of clothing, on countless occasions beyond what the trend dictated. I always find the idea of versioning the total denim aesthetic for its timeless character as in today’s look that includes items of clothing from previous seasons. The update is provided by the accessories giving a new air to its usual look.
