The denim empire extends to everything imaginable this Autumn–Winter 2022-2023

Denim has been occupying the nerve centre of trends for a lifetime, bringing an unquestionable reality to fashion. It does so in items of clothing and accessories of all kinds reinterpreted in fits that surprise us more or less depending on cuts, volumes, draping, colours, decorated with logos, prints, etc.

This Autumn-Winter 2022-2023 the trend is inspired by the decade of the 2000s, in which the style of the beginning of the millennium stands out for its excesses, decorations and basic and varied silhouettes. The wide jeans return with the waist to the hip and the hem at floor length as a fetish garment, and among all the style proposals, double denim (from head to toe): it is still present exploring its wide practical character and its aesthetic power.

My choice: The All Smiles denim shirt decorated with smiley faces of emojis by the brand One Teaspoon, Sanary high-waisted jeans by one of my favorite top brands, Iro Paris, with accessories (shoulder bag and ankle boots) also by the French brand.

Let’s turn all those denim items of clothing that inhabit our wardrobe around and add new travel companions by updating our looks.
